The Community of Madrid has officially presented Digital Factory. This is an initiative that, after more than a year of work and procedures, includes 158 winning companies, including 1millionbot, who can already work to execute various projects linked to the technological transformation of the Madrid region.

Presentation of Digital Factory

The Minister of Local Administration and Digitization, Carlos Izquierdo, has been in charge of cutting the virtual ribbon for the premiere of the Digital Factory. For Izquierdo, "it is about a public-private collaboration initiative that redefines the Administration's contracting strategies to facilitate and expedite the relationship with all those companies in the technological and digital sector”. The objective, according to Izquierdo, is "to advance in the process of technological transformation of the Community of Madrid, through innovative solutions".

Digital Factory is framed within a Framework Agreement signed on March 1 and that it will facilitate the concurrence and competition of companies by not being limited to a certain number, which means that all those who have met the established minimum requirements are part of this initiative.

Thus, recruitment times will be drastically reduced. “We are talking about the estimated times being five weeks for contracts of less than 50.000 euros; in nine for those between 50.000 and 214.000, and in 11 for those with more than 214.000”, the Izquierdo counselor added.
