El Fuengirola City Council, In a strategic move towards innovation and modernization, it has introduced an artificial intelligence (AI) virtual assistant on its institutional website, developed to reinforce fast and effective communication with citizens. This project, presented by Mayor Ana Mula and Councilor for Innovation, Isabel González, is part of the municipality's ongoing commitment to improving the quality of municipal services and the citizen experience.

This assistant, available in both Spanish and English, is located in the lower right corner of the website of the Town hall, upon accessing the portal, users are greeted with a message indicating the presence of the assistant and welcoming them. Its main function is to automatically respond to queries about administrative procedures, available courses and general information, thus facilitating navigation and reducing the need for direct contact for frequent queries.

The system's functionalities include the management of questions about registration, certificates, appointment requests for various municipal services, information on the Real Estate Tax, markets, receipts, fords, libraries, sports, as well as a section for complaints and suggestions. The latter is essential, as the system learns from interactions and adjusts to continually improve, ensuring an optimal experience for users.

Ana Mula highlighted that the virtual assistant is a constantly evolving tool, which will be updated and expanded with more functionalities as it is used. She urged citizens to use it and contribute in the complaints and suggestions section to further improve the service.

The mayor also recalled Fuengirola's innovative trajectory, mentioning previous initiatives such as the Electronic Headquarters, a mobile app to report incidents, video procedures and the Virtual Citizen Card, which allow citizens to manage various procedures from the comfort of their homes.

This Fuengirola City Council project is not an isolated case in the use of advanced technologies at the municipal level. 1MillionBot has been a key collaborator in the implementation of AI systems in several municipalities, demonstrating its leadership and experience in this field. The town councils of Las Rozas, Murcia and Valencia have witnessed significant digital transformations thanks to projects led by 1MillionBot. These projects have ranged from virtual assistants that facilitate citizen interaction to integrated systems that improve administrative efficiency.

The core of these projects has been the millie platform de 1MillionBot, a solution that combines personalized assistant technology with the capabilities of generative language models (LLM), such as GPT. This platform has allowed municipalities to offer automated and personalized services that significantly improve the user's experience.
