Alicante, May 5, 2023 – The Accelerate PYME Office of FEMPA and AEPA successfully held their first TechWorking Forum last Wednesday, a meeting focused on addressing the technological challenges and opportunities faced by companies, associations and universities in the province of Alicante. The event had the outstanding participation of a panel of experts from the technological field.

The forum began with words of welcome from Luis Rodríguez, Executive President of FEMPA, followed by a lively panel entitled «Technological keys for the present and future business». The round table was attended by Tonia Salinas, Director of the UMH Science Park; Manuela Esclapez, DXC Technology Site Manager; Belen Lara Ros, CEO and Co-Founder of Blockiure; Angela Baus Navarro, CEO of Cajeando and member of the National Association of Big Data and Analytics (ANBAN); and Celia Sanchez, CEO of 1MillionBot. The discussion was moderated by sonia rujas of AEPA and Lawrence Lawrence of the Office Acelera Pyme FEMPA.

Celia Sanchez, CEO of 1MillionBot, shared his experience in the development and application of solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and chatbots, which have been adopted by more than 30 universities, 35 public administrations and over 50 companies, including Bankia, Airzone and Red Eléctrica de España, among others. Celia Sánchez highlighted the importance of her MILLIE platform, which uses generative AI and technologies such as GPT-4, from CharGPT to automate processes and guarantee return on investment (ROI), while ensuring the security and privacy of information.

The event concluded with the closure by Marcela Fernandez, President of AEPA, who thanked all the experts for their participation and highlighted the importance of these meetings to promote innovation and technological growth in the province of Alicante.

The first TechWorking Forum has been an enriching space for the exchange of ideas and experiences, and has made clear the commitment of the technological community of Alicante to face the challenges and opportunities presented by the current business panorama.
