ICT specialist pre-sales engineer

We are looking for an Engineer with a technological background but with a commercial vocation and ease of communication. This professional is in charge of providing technical support to the proposals of the sales team. His fundamental functions are to ensure that the computer and technological solutions proposed to the client are technically accurate and to explain in an accessible language the characteristics and advantages of virtual assistants and AI. For all these reasons, this profile must keep up to date with technological advances in the Artificial Intelligence and virtual assistants sector, as well as with the products offered by the competition.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • It helps to achieve the agreed sales targets for your area of ​​responsibility.
  • Support to the commercial team and making proposals to the client.
  • Get advice on the client's needs with the help of the account manager and prepare the technical part of the proposals made to the client.
  • Present the product or solution to the customer from a technical perspective.
  • It helps salespeople to "define the technical need" of the customer for the product they present to them.
  • Document the product in such a way that its technological advantages can be translated into “commercial language”.
  • Prepare demos and presentations about the product and the solution.
  • Interlocutor with the technical managers of the clients.
  • Internal dialogue with the Technical and R&D department.
  • He will make sure to transfer the powers that will be assumed by the technical and production team.
  • Commercial support to the technical and production department for the implementation of the solution proposed to the client within the solution contracted by the client.
  • Ensure communication between the client and the company at a technical level to meet customer expectations.
  • Evaluate from a technical point of view both our product and that of the competition to adapt to the market.
  • You will evaluate on a technology scale our solution and products offered to customers.
  • It will also evaluate the similar products of the competition to establish the strengths and weaknesses against it.
  • Intimacy relationship with the clients' technical interlocutors to help make future proposals for both existing clients and future leads.
  • Participation in the development of new products or services sharing the needs of the market and target customers.
  • Helps to attract customers.
  • Make periodic reports on the development of technical advances and roadmap, both internal and third-party solutions.
  • Participate in the different actions and commercialization and marketing campaigns. Demo at events, webinars.
  • Preparation of technical and commercial documentation.
  • Design and drafting of technical responses to RFI/RFP and public tenders.
  • Any task assigned by the Commercial Direction of 1MillionBot.

PURPOSE AND RELEVANCE OF THE POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION

Our Pre-sales Engineer and ICT Specialist, will have the main objective of providing support to the Commercial Department through the design, implementation and administration of new solutions tailored to the needs of our clients, as manager of each project, he will have the possibility of presenting his benefits in support of the commercial area, being a partner in the search for new business opportunities.

The Pre-sales Engineer acts as a link between customers and the different departments of the company (Commercial and Technical), with the aim of maximizing value for the customer while proposing new technical solutions.

Its function is key for the identification of market needs, the configuration of the portfolio of products and services and during all stages of the sales cycle with the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Pre-Sales Engineer will act as the technical point of contact for the clients and his key responsibility includes generating new business opportunities with new clients and with the portfolio of existing clients, maximizing the value received and perceived by the client, being co-responsible with the commercial team for the increase in revenue and margin of 1MillionBot.

  • Knowledge of office suite.

  • Ability to understand and analyze technical and commercial information.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferably Senior Computer Engineer, Multimedia or Telecommunications.
  • Technical and Commercial Skills.
  • Preferably experience offering technological solutions to clients:
    • CRM.
    • cms.
    • IP voice.
  • Preferably knowledge in:
    • Google Cloud Platform.
    • AWS platform.
    • IBM cloud.
    • connections to Rest API.
  • English level C1.
  • Knowledge of other languages ​​will be valued.

LEVEL OF PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

2-5 years of previous experience in a similar position, ideally in the area of ​​conversational AI or natural language processing. Experience in natural language processing/conversational AI systems would be a significant PLUS.
