Last Thursday, September 29, the final symposium of the European project took place at CADA Erasmus + NICCOLLA, whose main objective is to provide solutions to bring new technologies (virtual reality, artificial intelligence, etc.) closer to the field of health and social assistance.

The session was attended by nuria oliver, Co-founder of the ELLIS Alicante Foundation, german nativity scene Director of the R+D+I department of 1MillionBot,  Jose Manuel Molto, Neurologist at the Hospital Mare de Déu dels Lliris and jon ander gomez, Co-Founder and CDO of Solver Intelligent Analytics.

Belén Alemán spoke about the use of chatbots in the health and services sector and how they are becoming an essential tool. The ability to interact with assistants via voice makes users/patients feel comfortable, easy to use, accessible and available 24/7. The abilities of the assistants are increasing day by day. Belén spoke about MENTOR, a project being developed by 1MillionBot in collaboration with Brainstorm Multimedia, Caritas Diocesana de Orihuela-Alicante, and AIJU that is funded by the Agència Valenciana de Innovaciò (AVI) whose objectives include detecting and predicting cases of loneliness through the development of semantic, sentiment and natural language analysis tools. The project also seeks to generate recommendation systems, based on artificial intelligence algorithms, capable of learning the likes, needs and preferences of users to ultimately propose assistance programs and support resources through different channels.
