FUNCTIONS

• Administration of the different technology platforms of the company
• Document and maintain the monitoring processes, ensuring the proper functioning of all the servers in the system.
• Design and execution of network expansion plans
• Proposals for performance improvement, saving in the use of resources or security improvements.
• Configuration and maintenance of infrastructure backups and disaster recovery management.
• Software installation and configuration.
• Performance monitoring and system maintenance.
• Development of an internal database with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
• Detect and report performance failures, information leaks and network security problems.
• Solve errors and/or blackouts in the systems.
• Collaborate with the team of back-end developers for future implementations that require system improvements.
• Follow the specifications of the workflow in the developments.
• Report of the states and progress of the objectives set.
• Participate in the stages of the general life cycle of the application.
• Define and communicate technical and design requirements.
• Provide training, help and support to other team members.
• Learn about new emerging technologies and stay up to date with current best practices.

  PURPOSE AND RELEVANCE OF THE POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION

The purpose of this position is to coordinate and be responsible for the security and operation of our systems.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of public and private networks: protocols, routing, switching, firewalls
• Great experience in UNIX environments
• Experience with hypervisors or IaaS such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
• Knowledge of Apache, Nginx and Express web servers
• SQL and NoSQL database administration experience
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Nagios or Cacti
• Experience with LDAP user directories
• Experience in work environments with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or KanBan
• Knowledge of scripting in Bash, Python or Node
• Experience with domain servers, mail, files, etc.
• Interest in new tools and services that provide improvements to the system.
• Capacity for teamwork.
• Ability to understand and analyze functional requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably Computer Engineer or Telecommunications.
• Certifications in the environments described above as well as in computer security will be valued.
• English level B2.
• Knowledge of other languages ​​will be valued.

LEVEL OF PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous experience of 2 to 5 years in similar positions.
