The Rivas City Council has launched a new Intelligent Assistant developed by 1MillionBot with the aim of improving efficiency in citizen service and increasing the ways to resolve queries. The assistant will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and will have the ability to simultaneously serve concurrent users.

The most significant Town Halls in Spain already have their own Intelligent Assistant developed by 1MillionBot, such as the Madrid City Council, the Open Administration of Catalonia, Diputación de Barcelona, Tax Management Service of the Diputació de València or City of Murcia.

El Intelligent Assistant for Public Administrations is a perfect tool to address the digitization processes of the consistory helping to reduce the number of phone calls or appointments, among many administrative or customer service tasks.

The chatbot will respond to requests from users of the Comprehensive Citizen Attention Service (SIAC), an office that, according to municipal data, handles an average volume of 5.000 calls per month, and covers 82% of total calls.

Meet Catherine

The chatbot, which goes by the name of Catalina, is an online avatar that can be used to answer frequently asked questions and provide useful information about Rivas City Hall services. The name comes from Catalina San Martin Lopez, the first female mayor of Rivas Vaciamadrid, one of the first in Spain and the first in the country to be democratically elected during the Second Spanish Republic.

Among the main characteristics of this assistant, it stands out its ability in the future to integrate with other applications and systems, its ease of processing natural language based on artificial intelligence algorithms and its ability to solve needs that arise daily in the City Hall.
