Eli, the virtual assistant of the group gastroportal, developed by 1millionbot, has won the IV edition of The Chatbots Tourism Awards 2022. This award, organized by Segittur, a state company dedicated to the management of innovation and tourism technologies, recognizes the best chatbot and conversational technology solutions. The ruling was held in an act last Thursday within the framework of Fitur.

Unanimity

The jury that has evaluated the three finalists have been Angel Hernandez, managing partner of Chatbot Chocolate, Victor Badorrey, director of Institutional Relations of Segittur and mayte vañó, communication director of the Digital District of the Valencian Community. The jury members unanimously declared Eli the winner. Thus, in their opinion they have highlighted that Eli is capable of managing and closing a reservation at any of the chain's restaurants. This is done by maintaining a fluid conversation, leaving guided flows aside and flaunting an understanding of natural language. And all this with a close and friendly tone that makes the chat more dynamic and simple to all users.

The most positive evaluations have fallen on the user experience and in compliance with the purpose for which it was created. In addition, it has a series of frequently asked questions related to the world of catering, such as the allergen menu, which makes the experience even more complete.

This fourth edition had a single category with which the best tourist Virtual Assistant of 2022 will be awarded. In that category companies from all tourism verticals have competed. From hotel chains, airlines or travel agencies to tourist destinations or destinations.

In this edition, in which a total of 8 applications have been submitted, 1millionbot has competed with the virtual assistants hosted by the bicycle travel company kolotrip and with the hotel chain Bahia Principe. On Thursday, January 20, after a presentation of the finalists, the ruling will be announced.
