The director of CENID, Alicante's digital intelligence center, Manuel Palomar, and Andres Pedreño, president and founder of 1millionbot presented last Monday the Geo Artificial Intelligence project. Is an initiative that will allow the application of Artificial Intelligence to municipal databases which can be accessed through an Intelligent Assistant.
The announcement was made during the Municipalism Forum organized by the newspaper Información throughout the day of November 29.
Geo Artificial Intelligence Project
The announcement of collaboration between CENID and 1MillionBot means the union in the same project of four outstanding companies of the Alicante digital ecosystem. Thus, in addition to the two mentioned, they are also part of the Gente Comunicación and Suma Gestión Tributaria project.
The project will be based on the platform Suma GeoGIS, which already allows cadastral references to be located on an interactive map. The objective is to dump on this platform the enormous amount of data that municipalities and other institutions have to generate a large base of geolocated information..
Subsequently, it can be applied to this massive information hosted on the Artificial Intelligence platform. Besides, the use of a Smart Assistant will facilitate access to that data.
During the conversation between the two former rectors of the University of Alicante, which can be seen in its entirety in this video, Pedreño insisted on the scalability of the project. Thus, it encouraged the municipalities of Alicante to join the initiative.
In the talk, Palomar wanted to advance, in turn, that CENID prepares the launch of the Alicante Observatory for Sustainable Development. It is a tool that will provide information on the degree of compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals in each municipality.
