A group of students from the subject 'Technological Scenarios of Organizations' (4th year of the Computer Engineering Degree at the University of Alicante) has visited Joanna Tower OST, accompanied by their teacher, Dr. Manuel Marco Such, to learn first-hand about the innovative projects that are developed in this workspace specialized in technology, and more specifically in artificial intelligence (AI).

During the visit, Pablo Navarro and Rafael González, from 1MillionBot, shared with the students the fascinating history of Torre Juana and how its activity has evolved significantly since, in 2016, the IT&IS company took over its management. This transformation has led Torre Juana to become a epicenter of technological innovation, especially in the field of AI.

Rafael González, computational linguist at 1MillionBot, during the presentation.

Navarro and González delved into one of 1MillionBot's main lines of work: the development of conversational assistants based on AI and natural language processing, now reinforced with generative AI. These conversational assistants represent one of the most advanced and promising applications of artificial intelligence, allowing a more natural and efficient interaction between people and machines.

The visit allowed this group of students to expand their knowledge about AI and its practical applications, as well as inspire them in their future professional career in the field of technology.

En 1MillionBot, we are committed to the education and training of future generations of technology professionals. We firmly believe that These visits are an excellent opportunity to connect with young talents and share our passion for artificial intelligence.

We thank the Dr. Manuel Marco Such and to his students for his visit and we hope to continue collaborating with the University of Alicante on future occasions. The future of artificial intelligence is bright and we are excited to be a part of this journey!
