Thechatbot» is an initiative of 1MillionBot which explores and develops literary and cultural chatbots based on artificial intelligence (AI) to empower literature and culture. These intelligent assistants generate content about authors and reference works of culture in Spanish and other historical and heritage topics. In addition, some are designed to imitate the style of famous authors or create original texts inspired by their works.
Some notable examples of chatbots developed within the framework of our chatbot are:
- dulcineia. Chatbot specialized in Quijote by Miguel de Cervantes who can answer questions about the content, language, and historical context of the work.
- Elijah. A virtual assistant that provides information about the life and work of Mario Vargas Llosa, Nobel Prize Winner for Literature.
- Rafa. An expert chatbot in Fondillón wine and the history of the Huerta de Alicante.
- Placid. An intelligent assistant focused on the life and work of the Valencian filmmaker Luis García Berlanga.
These assistants not only offer entertainment and encourage reading, but also serve as educational tools, promoting cultural dissemination and stimulating creativity. Besides, 1MillionBot is investigating the integration of these chatbots in the metaverse, a virtual space that combines physical reality with digital virtuality, allowing immersive narrative experiences.
The fundamental objective of chatbotDirected by Rafael González (PhD in Hispanic Philology), is to take advantage of the advanced capabilities of AI to enrich and personalize the literary and cultural experience, especially for the new generations.
