From the city of Alicante, the innovative spirit has risen to the podium at the most prominent event of technology applied to financial services: the Innovation Banking Hack Fest. At a meeting where brilliant minds converge to redefine the future of the banking sector, Marcos Checa, a former student at the University of Alicante and current developer at 1MillionBot, has won two distinctions that confirm local talent in the technological panorama.
Checa and her team, known as MultitecUA, they took over award for best technical development. His feat? Accept a 48-hour technological challenge that in his case culminated in the creation of a system of smart kiosks powered by artificial intelligence, designed with the aim of mitigating the digital divide in the banking sector.
The Alicante Technological Competence Center, sponsored by Banco Sabadell, was not only the scene of this distinction but also where the team received a additional recognition from the University of Alicante.
