The Chair of Cooperation and Sustainable Development aims to promote training, research and documentation activities aimed at achieving the 2030 Agenda and, in particular, at the goals of the sustainable development objectives directly linked to the central axis of alliances.
This chair encompasses the collaboration of five Valencian public universities. Each university focuses on a series of activities (training, research and information and documentation) related to one of the five central axes of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda. The University of Alicante develops the PEACE axis; Jaume I University develops the ALLIANCES axis; the Polytechnic University of Valencia develops the PLANET axis; the University of Valencia develops the PEOPLE axis and the Miguel Hernández University develops the PROSPERITY axis.
1MillionBot has developed the UMH Prosperity chatbot. The objective of the chatbot is to help disseminate the mission of the Prosperity Chair and promote knowledge and application of the SDGs in the university community and in all those interest groups and groups within its sphere of influence. The main challenges of the prosperity axis are related to affordable and sustainable energy, with inclusive and sustainable economic growth where there can be full employment with decent work, with the construction of resilient infrastructure and inclusive employment and innovative industries, with the reduction of inequality and making human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
